New National EV sales mandate

The Federal Government has just announced a new EV sales mandate for Canada.

One-fifth (20%) of all passenger cars, SUVs and trucks sold in Canada in 2026 will need to run on electricity under this new regulation. This ratio will increase to 60% of all light-duty vehicles sold by 2030 and to 100% by 2035.

Launching New Green Energy Credits Program

The BC Government has started a new incentive program which came in effect on January 1st, 2022. The program requires that all EV charging station owners register their chargers and report energy usage to the Government. As an added positive benefit, this program also allows you to convert the energy you provide through your EV charging stations into carbon credits and earn you money.
